Partner News is a 2 or 3 page section in Oracle Magazine, including news about our partners. Generally this should be product news with an Oracle angle. This section does not include customer wins or customer case studies.

Oracle Magazine offers overviews, insights, and road maps to help IT decision makers and implementers understand and innovate by using new technologies—from internet computing and electronic business to data warehousing and decision support. Oracle Magazine tells subscribers what they should be looking for, why they should care, and how they can use information technology to achieve business success.

When submitting your news item, please consider the following questions:

How will readers benefit from reading your article?

Will they learn a new technique?

Will they work more effectively if they implement the list of tips you provide?

Will they get started with a new product more successfully based on the implementation plan you outline?

In your submission, be specific about the details of your project. For example, rather than say “Data migration can take a long time“ quantify what you know, even if it's anecdotal: ”Data migration can take two to four months, depending on the size of the database.“

Provide rules of thumb and guidelines for readers whenever possible, pointing out obstacles they might encounter and offering workarounds for obstacles. If talking about a specific project, what do you know now that you wish you'd know before you started? In short, articles should give readers the inside track on how to use Oracle products more effectively.
